Q: Will this short throw shifter work with both the stock shift knob as well as standard aftermarket knobs? Or would I need to buy the shift knob adapter as well (DDM-15-3) for use with aftermarket knobs?

A: Yes, this will work with the stock shift knob and boot. It only changes the shifting mechanism below the shift knob. We do offer a shift knob adapter and shift boot if you are interested in changing out your shift knob and boot.
