Instructions
The DDMWorks Shifter adapter allows the customization of your Solstice/Sky by giving you the ability to bolt on other shift knobs. This CNC machines solid steel piece bolts securely to the shift mechanism on the transmission and then
offers a common M10 x 1.25 threaded end to allow the use of many common shift knobs. This gives you the ability to make your Solstice/Sky unique and adds some style all at the same time. The stock shifter boot is integrated into the Original shift adapter but can be modified to work with the new shifter adapter. We do
recommend
purchasing a new shift boot for the cleanest and easiest installation.

Works great!
Original shift knob was bleak and I wanted more customization. Getting the original off was not easy, I had to *carefully* use a blowtorch along with a lot of strength to break the nut and start loosening it. I thought I broke my Allen key at first it was so difficult. However instillation after that was very straightforward. I bought another shift boot from eBay from Germany and it works amazingly. Love the new gear stick!

Great product
Product was great . Install was easy and came with loctite and I ordered it with the shift know which was also really nice quality. Would highly recommend and I would order again.

Excellent Craftsmanship
Super simple to install! You will find this significantly lighter than the stock adapter, but I like the feel. Went on in a couple of a minutes. I highly recommend it!

Easy Install - Must Have
This is a real review, which obviously exactly how you'd expect a fake review to start ... but for real ... If you're reading this, you have a Solstice/Sky and you're bored with the base shift knob and annoyed that the whole thing is all one unit and you can't just change the knob, weight, and feel... This part from DDM Works is Excellent. Real heavy durable feel and holy cows the install is easy peasy ... I'm a lazy desk jocky accountant. I can't do real man stuff... I had a friend come hang my TV ... I was able to install this by myself in about 10mins with just an allen wrench and a little bit of super glue (for the boot) ... that's it .. most lego sets are more difficult to put together than this was. Well worth the purchase, you'll be happy.... Now I've got to stop myself from buying 20+ shift knobs and switching them out every day haha

Hey there, I was wondering if the 4-6 week window was accurate for the adapter and also how long for the boot with red stitch. I need to replace my OEM shift knob because it's frayed and peeling. I'm going to install the short throw and new boot at the same time so just trying to time things out. Thanks for any info you can provide.

We should be receiving our shipment of shift adapters this week.
We currently have 1 red solstice and 1 red sky boot in stock. Once those are sold it will take about 2-3 weeks for new stock to arrive.
