Polaris Slingshot Firestorm Hood Vents by DDMWorks adds function and styling to your Slingshot.

While doing aero testing at the A2 Wind Tunnel Mooresville, NC, we learned that there is a high pressure area in the stock wheel of all stock Polaris Slingshots. While doing more testing, it was found that the high pressure area in that area pushes up on the bottom of the hood, lifting the hood up until the high pressure is reduced, then the hood drops back down, that pressure builds again, this cycle repeats and "hood flap" is the result at speed. When that high pressure is pushing up on the hood, front end lift is also created on the Slingshot, decreasing front end stability also. Once we found this problem, we went to work on a solution and developed the DDMWorks hood vents. The result is a simple to install vent that reduces this high pressure area, helping to eliminate "hood flap" and creating more front end stability at speed. We offer several unique designs of these vents, allowing you to get the benefits of the vents while also customizing the look of your Slingshot with different patterns and colors of powdercoat.

The DDMWorks hood vents are CNC plasma cut and then finished in a ultra durable powder coat in your choice of popular Polaris Slingshot colors. Mesh inserts are installed on the vents to help reduce water and road debris from coming up and are powdercoated in colors allowing you to create a truly custom creation. All stainless steel hardware needed for installation and full color instructions are included with the kit, ensuring you a great looking custom setup for years to come.
