Q: it says it fits 2011-2013 but will it fot on my 2008 1.5 sport as other parts from newer models up to a certain year fit?

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm fitment as we have not tested it on that vehicle.

Although that generation of Mazda 2 / Demio was first sold in Europe and China starting in 2008, they did not come to the US until 2010. We have only tested on US models here at this time. We believe that the short shifter will work for any 2008 -2014 model, but can not guarantee fitment since we have not tested it here.
