Essential

Probably the first thing you should do to a Mazda2, especially now that they're getting on in years. It's the first thing I did to mine, before it even had a plate. Instantly changes the feel of the shifter from econobox flop to smooth, precise and sporty. I am using the bushings with everything else stock, and it's hard to imagine a cable shifter feeling any better. In fact, it's almost hard to believe a cable shifter can feel this good.

Solid bushes

The install was not complicated at all. My car had about 6000 miles on it when i installed these. It tightens the shift feel up nicely without being harsh or requiring any more force to change gears.

No playing around

These machined metal bushings completely remove all play in the shift assembly. Good for a much sportier feel than stock, especially when combined with the short shifter.
