DDMWorks Rear sway bar for the Mazda 2.This rear bar installs in the rear twist beam of the stock suspension and stiffens the twist beam to create more roll stiffness. This increase in roll stiffness helps to neutralize the handling of the Mazda 2. The bar has been made from 1" tubular steel to provide high stiffness to weight and long life.

Fits: 2011-2014 Mazda 2
Kits includes all hardware necessary for install.
1" tubular steel with TIG welded ends.

It's simple mod but it makes a HUGE difference!

Sadly there is not a lot of aftermarket support for the Mazda2 in the United States unfortunately... Or mostly modern Small/Medium size sedans/coupes/hatchbacks/wagons on the road in general. But besides that point I recently purchased a 2013 Mazda2 that was already fairly modified but needed some reinforcements and a CAI to make this car (To me) handles like my 2015 Honda Fit before and with this rear sway bar, it nearly identical if not better than my Honda fit around corners! Installation took me over an hour due to my wired home drill barely can handle the metal on metal contact with the drill bit even provided so I used a smaller set of drill bits that can trim the holes down just enough to screw the Washers + bolts in the frame that have been provided and hammer it down to make it a snug fit. After that I tighten both bolts with the nuts provided and really made it tight to the point it's wont turn at all with a firm twist. Then I test drive it for around 10 miles and going around corners as fast as possible... It is really stable and I feel more confident pushing the car more without have to worry about understeering off the road! I recommend this rear sway bar to all Mazda2 owners in general if you still drive your Mazda2 actively (Daily to months apart). Cheers!

Great!

This is exactly what I needed for better handling without having to do much modding. I would highly recommend for those looking to not have to understeer

Awesome! 15 minute install

A must for any Mazda2. Stock, the 2 has hopeless understeer and tons of body roll. The bar makes the car nearly neutral. Now the back end will come around if you corner correctly. Body roll is reduced a bit, but I'm still going to install stiffer suspension. Install is super easy. Slightly drill out two holes, tighten two bolts. Done. Even the drill bit is provided.

I love this, makes corners that much more fun and enjoyable. I can definitely tell the difference in the way it handles. Installation was easy and it's a great quality product. I highly recommend.

Great Product

This bar works great and is very well made. Understeer is noticeably less and body roll is reduced too. The DDMWorks Rear Sway Bar is one of my favorite modifications I have done to this car.
