No need to walk from side to side making sure that your clamps have engaged! This gas shock holds the hood securely in place and ensures that your hood does not slam down until you are ready to close it. For an easy install, this kit re-uses stock hardware and mounting points, but gives you a better-than-stock fit and closure! The hinges allow an almost a full 90 degree open giving you an unobstructed area in which to work and clean inside your engine bay without having to remove your entire hood. This Hood extension kit is highest quality billet aluminum kit on the market and is available in 2 colors, not to mention, it just looks great!
