The DDMWorks 2 bar MAP sensor with conversion wire and grommet that is used in all of our forced induction kits to replace the factory 1 bar MAP sensor. Since the factory 1 bar MAP sensor can not accurately fuel boosted conditions from a turbo or supercharger we upgrade to this 2 bar MAP sensor allowing the ECM to accurately read boost to 14.7psi of boost. The sensor comes with an adapter that allows plug and play installation into the Polaris Slingshot and an adapter to fit into the intake manifold. Installation of the 2 bar MAP sensor does require the ECM to be re-flashed to work correctly, running the 2 bar MAP sensor on a ECM that is not flashed for it could result in incorrect fueling/ignition timing and engine damage.
