The factory rear differential bushing is pretty soft from the factory, and although this does quiet any noise or vibration coming from the differential, it allows a lot of movement of the differential under heavy load. When the differential moves, usually drivers will complain of a clunk noise while driving. This new replacement bushing is made of high quality performance urethane, a harder material, which reduces the amount of movement the differential makes, providing a crisper feel out of the car while under heavy load. This is a definite upgrade to those running superchargers or turbos on their Solstice or Sky, however even naturally aspirated owners can feel the difference. Installation is pretty straight forward, but does require the use of a press to push out the old bushing and press in the new one.
