We are pleased to be able to offer the HTV1320 supercharger for the Ariel Atom. Harrop of Australia developed this supercharger as a direct upgrade for the M62 found stock on the ECOTEC equipped Ariel Atoms. This upgraded supercharger is larger than the production equipped M62 it replaces (1.3L vs. 1.0L) and also a great deal more efficient. The new supercharger uses the latest Twin Vortices Series rotors. These new rotors provide much better efficiency than the older style M62 superchargers.
All TVS superchargers have a 2.4 pressure ratio capability and a thermal efficiency that exceeds 70 percent, which enables more compact packaging and greater output. The twin four-lobe rotors feature 160-degree twists. The higher helix angle of the rotors coupled with a redesigned inlet and outlet ports, improves the TVS’s air-handling characteristics without increasing the overall size of the unit.
Modified engines will certainly be able to take advantage of the benefits offered from the HTV1320-LSJ.
Further features of the HTV1320 include:
Eatons latest TVS technology in supercharging means higher efficiency.
Bolt-on solution for the 2.0L.
No adaptors required, simply remove the production M62 and replace it with the HTV1320-LSJ
Interchangeable pulleys - shipped with an 85mm diameter pulley. Alternative diameters are available.
Designed to work with either the stock throttle body or the larger LS4 throttle body.
Durable powder-coat finish is standard.
The HTV1320 is service free with OE-quality. The supercharger is a sealed unit that requires no maintenance other than typical OE-style checks.
Although the HTV1320 is mechanically a bolt-on solution, recalibration of the ECU and any ancillary items will need to be addressed (upgraded fuel system/injectors etc).
